Mirror 51
I had a dope shoot this past weekend in Far Rockaway Beach with an amazing photographer - Mirror 51. As much as I hate the commute to Far Rockaway, it was soooooo worth it once I was in front of the camera. We had fun in the sun and we did my first bathing suit beach shoot!! Here are some photos from the day.....

After we wrapped up at the beach, we went to this really cool deserted military bunker in the middle of nowhere, and we shot inside of it!! There was no light, and we kept hearing noises. But we got some dope shots, so stay tuned for the photos!
I dont know what kind of crazy detour my photographer took to find this place, we walked down long deserted roads to get here, but in a way - it is eerily beautiful.

After we shot here, the photographer took me to a spanish restaurant before we shot our last looks for the night. But I'll keep those a secret until you see the final shots!!

Buckle UP
Two days ago, myself and my best friend Deanna Reve found ourselves in a car accident. A yellow cab had decided to make a turn as we were going straight and we spun out and hit a pole.
I was not wearing my seatbelt and now I am enduring the consequences.
We are both fine however, just a bit sore and bruised up, but I do want to remind everyone to please please please always put your seatbelt on when in a car. You never know what can happen and it is vital to one's safety. I now know that I had the mentality of "It wouldn't happen to me" but it did. I appreciate the wake-up call and am grateful that we both were able to walk out safely.
Yesterday, as Deanna and I went to get her things out of the car, she grabbed a guardian angel from her rearview mirror that my mom had bought her the last time she had gotten into a car accident about two years ago which said "Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly" and although in this case, it wasn't the speed that caused us to crash, speed is amongst one of the most common causes of accidents.

Forever 21 Walk on Water
Recently a great friend of mine, Emmi Grullon invited me and my best friend Deanna Reve to the Forever 21 Launch Event on pier 66! It was beautiful, and I saw so many people there that I hadn't caught up with in months!
Catching up with everyone was fun and so was taking pictures with two amazing friends!

The Duel
One year ago, if you check my past blog postings, I had been shooting for the feature film
"The Duel"
And the trailer has finally came out!!
I only have one line in the movie but I am excited for my good friends Jason Hurt, Phil Haus, and Antoine Harris who star in the film so GO WATCH IT whenever it comes out, which of course...I will keep you updated!

UPDATE
I went on a hiatus...
Had to get re-focused...
Been there ...done it and now I am back!!...
Since I have been gone...
I have done the Summer Campaign for Ruby Kisses which should be launching June/July 2010 hopefully, and I am retardedly excited to see the photos and tears from the 4 day project.
I was able to work with one of my favorite make-up artists to this day, Danessa Myricks -
as well as my new favorite hair stylist, Cocoa Mane
Snuck some picture from the Mac while they were downloading...Ssshhhh!!
They worked wonders on myself along with a fellow model that I had met on this project whom I love and adore, Lisa Ramos

You can catch her as one of the Contestants of America's Next Top Model Cycle 13. We met on set and everyone kept calling me Lisa and calling her Angelique. We don't look much alike, but we do represent for all the Latinas!!!She lives literally a hop, skip and a jump away from my apartment, and she enjoys shopping and talking just as much as I do... :-)
And I think she looks strikingly similar to Victoria Secret Supermodel Miranda Kerr who is gracing the June cover of GQ magazine.
